My name’s Michio; I'm an Industrial Designer currently located in beautiful Long Beach, California.
My other interests outside of design include taking photos, all things automotive, getting outdoors, and traveling.

Designing the future of defense hardware at the intersection of advanced tech, autonomy, and AI.
Industrial Designer III
August 2022 – December 2022
Irvine, CA
Developed future Electric bike and motorcycle concepts for a startup E-mobility brand.
Led rendering effort for full 23MY product lineup. Worked alongside design director and in-house design team to bring product visions to life.
Industrial Designer
Nov 2019 – July 2022
Seattle, WA / Remote / Long Beach, CA
Designed new products and accessories for creators in a wide range of categories including mobile, photo / video, work / travel, and technology.
ID lead for core Moment hardgoods products. Collaborated closely with in-house Mechanical Engineering, Content and Marketing teams, as well as overseas suppliers with the goal of delivering design-forward products to market.

Seattle / Everett, WA
Joined the ID team full-time at Teague to explore the future of aviation and travel. Projects ranged from conceptual to production level in commercial, defense, and space categories.
Completed full spectrum of ID work including research & feasibility studies, ergonomic evaluations, 2D and 3D ideation, CAD and rendering, mock-up building and client presentations / critiques.
Clients included Boeing, American Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Thai Airways, and Blue Origin, as well as other aviation/aerospace suppliers and companies.

Assisted designers with a wide-range of aerospace projects at the Teague Aviation Design Studio.
Work was primarily focused on aircraft interior and seating projects, taking ideas from concept to production-intent.
